Admission Process and Requirements for CandidTarget Schools

Admission Process

We welcome applications from students who are eager to learn, grow, and succeed. Our admission process is designed to ensure a smooth transition into our school community.

Step 1: Inquiry

- Contact us to inquire about admission availability and procedures.

- Receive information about our programs, fees, and requirements.

Step 2: Application

Submit a completed application form with the following required documents:

    - Birth certificate

    - Passport-sized photos

    - Academic records (previous 2 years)

    - Proof of payment (application fee)

Step 3: Assessment

- Schedule an entrance assessment (written and/or oral) to evaluate academic readiness.

- Assessment dates and times will be communicated in advance.

Step 4: Interview

- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with our admissions team.

- Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with their child.

Step 5: Offer of Admission

- Successful candidates will receive a letter of acceptance and enrollment package.

- Review, sign, and return the acceptance form to confirm your place.

Step 6: Registration

- Complete registration formalities, including payment of tuition fees and other charges.

- Receive information about uniforms, textbooks, and other requirements.

Admission Requirements for CandidTarget Schools

1. Creche Section:

We welcome children from one year and six months old for our Reception Class. Our experienced and caring nannies provide a nurturing environment, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Kindly note that we will require evidence of up-to-date vaccination and health checks for Reception Class admission. (Please provide vaccination records and a medical certificate)

2. Nursery Section:

We admit children aged two to five, with a structured program that includes Nursery 1 and 2. Our curriculum is designed to foster social, emotional, and academic growth.

3. Primary Section:

Children who have completed our Nursery program or an equivalent program elsewhere, and are at least six years old, are eligible for admission into our Primary Section.

4. College Section:

Primary school leavers who meet our entry requirements can be admitted into CandidTarget International Academy. Applicants must be at least 10 years old by the time of admission. Our College is a co-educational institution, providing equal opportunities and a comprehensive education for both male and female students.

Additional Admission Requirements for Transfer Students:

Thank you for considering CandidTarget Schools for your child's continued education. To ensure a smooth transition, please provide the following documents:

a. Most recent exam results (original copy)
b. Passport photograph (current)
c. Copy of birth certificate (certified true copy)

Additionally, transfer students may be required to sit for an entrance examination to assess their academic level and ensure they meet our school's standards.

Please submit these documents along with your application form to facilitate a prompt and efficient admission process

2. Compliance with School Rules:
CandidTarget Schools expects all pupils, students, parents, and guardians to abide by the school's rules and regulations. Failure to comply with these rules will result in appropriate consequences, as outlined in the Student Rules and Regulations.
Consequences may include, but are not limited to:
- Verbal warnings
- Written warnings
- Detention
- Suspension
- Expulsion (in extreme cases)

Please note that these consequences are intended to correct behavior, ensure safety, and maintain a conducive learning environment.

By accepting admission to CandidTarget Schools, pupils and students agree to:
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the school
- Follow the directives of the school management
- Cooperate fully with teachers and staff to ensure their academic and personal success

Similarly, parents and guardians of admitted pupils and students undertake to:
- Cooperate fully with the school management in the education of their children
- Become active members of the school's Parents-Teachers Conference (PTC)
- Support the school's mission, vision, and values in nurturing their children's growth and development
